FAQs

What sizes are available?

We offer two size options: small or large. Since each painting contains a unique aspect ratio, each print will range from as small as 16x20in. (41x51cm.) to as large as 30x40in. (76x102cm.). You can toggle each size option to see their associated cost.

What materials are they printed on?

We offer two material options: fine art paper or canvas (mounted). Fine art paper prints are made of 300gsm Pura Velvet 100% photorag matte cotton. Canvas prints are made with a matte, 360gsm poly-cotton blend, gallery wrapped and mounted around sturdy, 1.5" x 1.5" strainer bars and hand-varnished for protection. The canvases come "framed" and ready to hang, with included sawtooth mounting hardware. Both material options are printed with ultra-pigmented, archival giclee inks, intended to last over 100 years. You can toggle each size/material option to see their associated cost.

How are the prints shipped?

All prints are safely and efficiently hand-packaged from our print studio, here in Arizona, USA. Fine art paper prints include a surface protective layer of glassine paper, tightly rolled together withinin a sturdy, triangular tube. All prints are inspected and signed by Nick Bultman prior to shipment.

Are the prints signed or numbered?

All prints are hand-signed and numbered by Nick Bultman and come with an accompanying hand-signed and numbered certificate of authenticity (COA). Nick's signature will be on the back side of the print, unless you request a white border (matting) which will come -signed/numbered on the front side. You can request a front signature by 1) adding print to cart 2) view my cart 3) add matting note, or by sending an email to studio@nickbultmanart.com.

What does limited-edition mean?

All printed copies, including fine art paper and mounted canvas variants, will only be printed a select number of times (ex. 10, 25, 35, 50, 100) in order to restrict the number of circulating artist-made copies and ensure exclusivity for collectors. When all editions have been collected, they will never be printed again. Please note that artist-proof limited-edition prints can only be purchased at www.nickbultmanart.com, but can be obtained via private sale in the secondary market. If you are questioning the validity of a true, limited-edition artist-proof print, please reach out studio@nickbultmanart.com to verify provenance.

Do you offer framing services?

No, we do not offer framing services for fine art prints. You can purchase your own frames on websites such as www.custompictureframes.com or by working with a fine art framing in your local area. However, we do offer mounted canvas variants, which will will arrive to you already stretched ie. back stapled to wooden strainer bars. If customers would like to purchase a frame for their canvas, these are typically called floating canvas frames but we do not provide these.

How are these prints made?

Our prints are made using state of the art, museum-grade processes and materials. Each design is scanned, printed, and assembled by selected fine art printing experts, insuring each print maintains the details of the original painting. All prints are made to order, and quality-inspected by Nick Bultman prior to shipment. Read what recent collectors are saying in the Reviews tab.

How do I care for my new print?

Since both of our paper and canvas prints utilize archival pigment inks, they are more resistant to fading and deterioration than standard dye-based inks. While these pigment-based inks are preferred because they can last for 100 years or more, all prints are prone to aging and normal wear and tear over time. Therefor, it's recommended to always handle the print with care by holding it at the edges and avoid touching the printed surface directly, adding a frame it with archival materials and UV-protective glass, displaying the artwork in a cool, dry, dark place, and regularly dusting the frame with a soft, lint-free cloth, never using harsh chemicals or water directly on the print itself.
