About
Nick Bultman is an abstract artist whose work explores the intersection of movement, technology, nature and color. Self-taught and passionate about developing his creative instincts, Nick transitioned from a corporate career to full-time artistry in 2023, sharing his unique painting process and journey with a growing online audience. Based in Arizona, USA, his art is a reflection of his drive to uncover new forms while attempting to live congruently with three words: "just be you".
Nick’s signature style, which he calls Velocity Painting, utilizes fluid, expressive strokes as the focal point of his work. Each piece utilizes the core energy of these movements when designing geometric worlds around and within them, offering a unique perspective on chaos and control.
Having built a strong presence on social media, Nick’s art has resonated with collectors worldwide. His paintings are showcased in several galleries and have been featured in several international street art and fine art exhibitions. Through his work, Nick inspires others to embrace their own creativity, challenge conventions, and explore new ways of seeing the world.

Artist Statement
"In an era increasingly shaped by AI art, my paintings are an attempt to revitalize the human spirit by using visceral, spontaneous, athletic gestures to express paint in untraditional ways. My process feels like a dance with the universe, trusting in the predictability of physics, while fine-tuning my body and mindset to accept the flaws while aiming for perfection.
I’m inspired by action sports, animation, music, nature and technology and aim to imbue my paintings with the energy I feel on the inside. I feel most engaged when creating; my mind and heart run wild with ideas and I strive for each painting to improve on the last.
My body of work represents a personal history of setbacks, growth, and self understanding. I want to leave a lasting legacy of my personal style, and show that it's possible for anyone to achieve their dreams by staying true to who they are."
